SEOUL, South Korea — K-MIRACLE Co., Ltd. announced that its CEO, Hwang Keumvit(Hera), has been appointed as Head of the Eco Global Council at the Pocheon Carbon Neutrality Support Center, effective January 24, 2026.
The appointment marks a strategic step in expanding regional carbon neutrality initiatives into globally connected ESG frameworks, with a focus on developing eco-conscious talent and sustainable enterprises.
Advancing Carbon Neutrality Through Multi-Stakeholder Collaboration
The Eco Global Council operates under the Pocheon Carbon Neutrality Support Center as a multi-stakeholder platform bringing together local governments, public institutions, private enterprises, industry experts, and civil society.
The council is designed to accelerate the implementation of regional carbon neutrality policies while integrating ESG initiatives with environmental, educational, industrial, and cultural projects.
From Local Action to Global Impact
The Pocheon Carbon Neutrality Support Center has been instrumental in building a foundation for community-driven carbon neutrality through environmental education, industry collaboration, citizen participation programs, and regional partnerships.
Building on this foundation, the Eco Global Council will focus on key strategic initiatives, including:
- Designing and implementing ESG-linked initiatives
- Cultivating next-generation global eco talent
- Supporting the growth of sustainable, future-oriented enterprises
- Establishing international exchange programs and collaboration networks
As Head of the Council, Hwang will oversee the strategic direction and execution of ESG and carbon neutrality projects, with a mandate to expand these initiatives beyond Korea into international cooperation frameworks.
Bridging Field Experience with Global ESG Leadership
Hwang brings extensive on-the-ground experience in leading education and self-reliance programs for youth, women, and underserved communities. In parallel, Hwang is actively engaged in international initiatives through FLML (Forest Love & Mountain Love), an NGO with Special Consultative Status at the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), where she contributes to the Cultural and Arts Special Committee.
Through this dual engagement, Hwang aims to connect practical field experience with global ESG strategies—expanding into international projects focused on nurturing eco-conscious talent, supporting sustainable businesses, and designing impactful ESG programs.

“Developing globally competitive talent and enterprises in the ESG era requires more than vision—it demands structured learning, measurable evaluation, and alignment with international standards,” said Hwang Keumvit(Hera), CEO of K-MIRACLE Co., Ltd.
“We will build actionable frameworks that enable carbon neutrality and ESG initiatives originating in Pocheon to scale effectively through collaboration with public institutions, NGOs, and private-sector partners both domestically and globally.”
